Today is Monday, October 10, 2022. With the aplomb of a fucking idiot, the former president clearly admitted to a an asinine crowd of Dumpf supporters in Arizona that he never intended to return hundreds of classified documents to the government. He admitted that the documents “were mine” to have and to keep! He made it clear beyond a reasonable doubt that he did store documents belonging to the federal government and had never intended to return them. He is publicly daring the Justice Department to indict him now! This is a man who is evil beyond measure and he is being touted as a Republican nominee for president in 2024! He will be campaigning from a small cell, I hope, now that he has publicly confessed to a federal crime. How dare this loathsome individual taunt the wheels of justice to charge and prosecute him for crimes he feels he is immune to being charged with.

The disgraced, twice-impeached Traitor-in-Chief was speaking at a rally in Mesa, Arizona, campaigning for his MAGA-backed election-denier candidate, Kari Lake, who was labeled “dangerous for Arizona” by Mayor John Giles before the horrendous rally. Giles stated that he was actually campaigning for Democratic candidate Katie Hobbs who is running against Lake for governor. Giles framed the gubernatorial race in his state as “a choice between sanity and chaos.” It has to be very bad for a Republican mayor like Giles to openly campaign for the Democratic nominee for governor of the state. This brave mayor who clearly has chosen his state over the party continued to slam Lake for being “singularly focused on an election that happened two years ago” – referencing Lake’s hardline campaign centered around Dumpf’s allegations that the 2020 presidential election was stolen. Let’s pray that voters in Arizona were listening to the mayor’s criticism of Lake with undue attention. Lake must not be voted into office, the message is clear!

Another idiot in the mold of Donald Dumpf is Alabama Senator Tommy Tuberville who is being slammed for giving a racist speech at another MAGA rally of the ex-president, this time in Minden, Nevada.

This is what this ludicrously named senator said in his disgusting speech. He apparently linked criminality with Black people, as he ranted [Democrats] want crime because they want to take over what you’ve got. They want to control what you have. They want reparations because they think the people who do the crime are owed that. Bullshit! They are not owed that.” Actually, I have no fucking idea what this asshole was saying here, even though it certainly sounds racist.

The racist comments proffered by this obviously bigoted senator is reported in RawStory by Matthew Chapman in an article entitled “Some Republicans caught by ‘surprise’ by Tommy Tuberville’s tirade in Nevada: report.”

CNN’s congressional reporter Manu Raju indicated to Wolf Blitzer of CNN that the repugnican leadership is reacting to these comments “with silence.” Raju pointed out that there has been no response from top Republicans. Also, Congress is out on recess until after the midterms, which weakly could explain this lack of response. Behind the scenes, though, Raju mentioned that some Republicans are taken aback by this senator’s gross comments.

He states, “This has caught some Republicans that I have spoken to by surprise.” Raju reminds everyone that Tuberville is a freshman repugnican who keeps his head down. The congressional reporter does admit that Tuberville’s comments have gotten a lot of attention within the Republican Party and outside the Republican Party as well. This story, in my mind, just illustrates the depths of depravity the republican party has descended to. It is an openly racist party now, led by a white supremacist by the name of Donald Dumpf! Let’s admit the truth here, folks!

I have to make this entry short. I just had dinner with our Easton friend “Ralph”‘s daughter “Elizabeth” without Elliot who was in the doldrums over the recent loss of Jocelyn. We finished close to 9 p.m. when I walked her to the nearby subway station. Thus I took her to a local restaurant called the White Radish. We had a great time discussing a range of issues, from dating to her recent vacation in Dominica, the Caribbean. This occurred several hours after I got my Omicron booster at CVS at 2:30. So far, I have no deleterious side effects. Let’s see what happens tomorrow. I hope I don’t begin to spout repugnican tropes as a result of getting this latest booster shot.
