Today is Sunday, October 16, 2022. Listening to the Mehdi Hasan show on MSNBC, I was again shocked about hearing what the most anti-American ex-president has said on his insane “Truth” Social media platform today about American Jews and their disloyalty to him, the supreme commander of Jewish fealty, in his mind, only. This MAGA maggot, I will say it, boldly and unrepentantly, criticized American Jews for what he argued was their insufficient praise of his policies toward Israel, warning that they need to “get their act together” before “it is too late!” If this cannot be viewed as a less-than-disguised threat against the Jewish community, then I can sell you a bridge somewhere in Manhattan for $24. What the fuck is this deranged man ranting about? Where are those feckless repugnicans denouncing this bullshit from their former fascist leader? They are nowhere to be seen, of course. There is only the “sounds of silence” from them with this last outrageous verbal assault on an entire community. When is this man going to be indicted already? is all I can ask.

Quite rightly, the ex-president’s disgusting remarks drew condemnation from Jewish circles, but again, not from moderates in his own soulless party. An online article by Paul LeBlanc entitled “Trump complains American Jews don’t appreciate his moves on Israel, drawing criticism.”

The comment made by Dumpf, LeBlanc says, “plays into the antisemitic trope that U.S. Jews have dual loyalties to the United States and to Israel, and it drew immediate condemnation.” Ever the extreme narcissist, Dumpf proclaims in his tweet, “No President has done more for Israel than I have,” as if he were expecting the entire Jewish community to kiss his pinkie ring, along with House Minority Leader of the House of Representatives Kevin McCarthy who couldn’t get enough of his white palm. The dumb demagogue actually went on to say it was somewhat surprising that “our wonderful Evangelicals are far more appreciative of this than the people of Jewish faith, especially those living in the U.S.”

The head of the American Defamation League, Jonathan Greenblatt, accused the former dictator-to-be of “Jewsplaining.”

Greenblatt goes on to write, “We don’t need the former president, who curries favor with extremists and antisemites, to lecture us about the US-Israel relationship. It is not about a quid pro quo; it rests on shared values and security interests. This ‘Jewsplaining’ is insulting and disgusting.”

Another group, the Jewish Democratic Council of America, similarly slammed into the former president’s remarks, stating, “His threat to Jewish Americans and his continued use of the antisemitic dual loyalty trope fuels hatred against Jews,” in a tweet. They added, “We will not be threatened by Donald Trump and Jewish Americans will reject GOP bigotry this November.” Let’s sincerely hope so; even though it seems that Latino voters are being wooed by the despicable repugnican party in larger numbers than expected. For the life of me, I can’t grasp the reason for this, given how repugnicans really feel about the “other.”

So as the instances of antisemitism are ever rising in this country, now fueled by a former “president” even, what is going to happen then? Will there be another shooting like that in Pittsburgh about 4 years ago, which took place on October 27, 2018, when Dumpf was still in office, at the Tree of Life conservative congregation, where 11 people lost their lives to a bigoted madman? We can lay blame for anything like this happening in the future at the feet of the former president who continues to spew his own brand of hatred all around. And that is no bullshit!

What should disturb any self-respecting person who believes in fundamental American democracy is the shocking admission made by Arizona Republican candidate for governor Kari Lake to whether she would accept the results of her upcoming election for governor if she loses. What she said was positively alarming! This disturbing story appears online for CNN in an article by Kate Sullivan entitled “Kari Lake doesn’t commit to accepting Arizona election result if she loses.”

interviewed by Dana Bash on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Lake went all-Trump-on when she boldly asserted that “I’m going to win the election, and I will accept that result.” After being asked three times whether she would accept the election’s outcome, Lake dodged the question the first two times.

But here is the kicker! Bash then asked the election denier candidate, “If you lose, will you accept that?” What do you think this Trump loyalist said? You guessed it! She stated, “I’m going to win the election, and I will accept that result.” Fuck the bitch!

This dangerous candidate has the backing of the Orange Fiend and has repeatedly promoted his false claims about the 2020 election. This horrible, unfit candidate has said that she would not have certified President Joe Biden’s 2020 victory in Arizona, reportedly calling the election “stolen” and “corrupt.” Lake is certainly no Veronica Lake in her decidedly un-American positions on elections and voting.

Unfortunately, this unqualified person who shouldn’t even run for the position of dog catcher, let alone governor of a state like Arizona, is in a close race with her Democratic opponent, Katie Hobbs, who serves as Arizona’s Secretary of State.

In a separate appearance on “State of the Union” today, directly following Lake’s ghastly interview, Hobbs said Lake’s refusal to say whether she would accept the results of their election was “disqualifying.” That’s right, girl!

Hobbs went further in denouncing her crazy opponent, saying, “This is somebody who will have a level of authority over our state’s elections, the ability to sign new legislation into law, the responsibility of certifying future elections. And she has not only, as you heard, refused to say if she will accept the results of this election, but also whether or not she would certify the 2024 presidential election if she’s governor.” How could anyone in Arizona in good conscience vote for this jerk? I would be so disheartened if this woman ever wins the race there! I will have to speak to Elliot’s cousin in Scottsdale to see what the scuttlebutt is about this unqualified candidate! I would think that our cousin (I view her as my cousin too) “Joan” would have enough sense not to endorse Lake.

This onslaught of horrible news has just gotten me in high dudgeon. I really hope that most American voters will have the same reaction as I to the numbing number of election deniers and Trump-like candidates vying for public office. It’s so appalling. People must reject this trend toward outright fascism right here in this country. We must call it what it fucking truly is, just like when I made the Hitler comparison to Dumpf yesterday. It’s way past time to be circumspect here. We have only a few weeks until the midterms, folks.
