Today is Tuesday, August 1, 2023. Since I came home after 11 p.m. after attending my book club meeting in the Village, I will make this blog very short. This just in: the former president has received his third – third! – indictment today. I learned of it right before going into my book discussion group and I was in a celebratory mood. Humpty Dumpty was indicted over his vile efforts to overturn his 2020 election defeat. This indictment, from what I’ve learned, is quite an impressive illustration of how far this alleged criminal went to overturn the results of a fair and equitable election, leading up to the insurrection on January 6, 2021. In this indictment, Dumpf faces four counts, accused of conspiring to defraud the United States and to obstruct an official proceeding – the latter a charge that has already successfully been brought against rioters who breached the Capitol. I just heard that Ron De”Satan” actually told reporters that he hasn’t read the indictment. What an asshole! He needs to leave the presidential arena pronto.
