Today is Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Today was the Granite State primary, and as expected, I was severely disappointed with the results: the Orange Hemorrhoid won the primary defeating Nikki Haley and further cementing his iron grip on the horrible Republican Party. According to CNN, Dump is the first nonincumbent GOP candidate in the modern era to win both Iowa and New Hampshire. As I just commiserated with my New Jersey friend right after Chump’s unsurprising win, we both registered our utter amazement over how voters cast their ballots for this unholy un-Christian candidate with their asses. His challenger, Nikki Haley, congratulated him on his victory but added the “race is far from over.”
In the only positive sign from this terrible night, President Joe Biden is projected to win the New Hampshire primary as a write-in candidate. As you recall, his name didn’t appear on the Granite State primary ballot following an internal dispute over the primary’s date. Still, there was a state campaign to write in his name. No delegates will be awarded, though.
An online CNN article on Biden’s win is written by Michael Williams and Gregory Krieg and it’s entitled “Biden wins New Hampshire primary, CNN projects, with successful write-in campaign.”
The president’s victory in New Hampshire served to calm the anxieties of Democrats who were concerned that lagging enthusiasm over his campaign and the absence of his name from the ballot could amount to an embarrassing defeat.
Those worries led Biden loyalists to launch an unofficial write-in campaign for the president, encouraging rank-and-file Democrats to go to the polls to make a show of support for the incumbent president.
As those worries grew, Biden surrogates began to promote a write-in campaign aimed at Granite State Democrats and the “undeclared” independents who wanted a say in the Democratic primary. Biden himself did not campaign in New Hampshire. In northern Virginia, however, he and Vice President Kamala Harris hosted a rally for abortion rights as part of the soft launch of their 2024 general election campaign.
Now the Biden campaign will be closely watching the race between Dump and Haley. If Chump comes out with an overwhelming victory, Tuesday’s results could amount to a start of a rematch of the last presidential election, precisely what most voters say they don’t want. Haley has sought to temper her supporters’ expectations, but a weak showing could spell the end of her presidential aspirations.
As we mourn the victory of Donald Chump in New Hampshire tonight, one MSNBC correspondent, Joe Scarborough, actually predicts that Republican voters have sealed their doom in November by essentially handing the nomination to the malignant narcissist.
The RawStory article is by Travis Gettys and it’s entitled “Morning Joe predicts doom for GOP: ’If Trump wins tonight Republicans lose in the fall.'”
The Morning Joe host predicted the party would be toast in November if Chump becomes the nominee.
Scarborough says that people tell him he’s being so hostile to Republicans. He retorts, “I’m not being hostile to Republicans, I’m not being this hostile to conservatives. I’m just telling you, if you want to win, you’ve got to move forward.”
The morning news host adds, “You can’t elect a guy who is obsessed with 2020. You’ve got to elect a guy or a woman in this case who can help you move forward over the next four, five, 10 years. All Donald Trump does is talk about himself. You need to elect a president who talks about you and your family. Trump will never do that, ever! But if you want that, if you want to lose again, thank you, Jesus, for giving us free will, Republicans lose again, it’s in your hands. But that decision is made tonight, it’s made tonight. If Donald Trump wins tonight, Republicans will lose in the fall.” As the saying goes, from Joe’s mouth to God’s ears in this case.
Now the Biden campaign will have to pounce on the putative nominee for president, and it seems as if they are precisely doing that as the enfeebled Orange Hemorrhoid commits grammatical suicide over and over at his stupid rallies and appears as incoherent as ever. Delivering a speech before the primary in Laconia, New Hampshire, a district that he handily won, Demented Don threw this in: ”How foolish are we? How stupid are our leaders? We can be energy independent and even energy dominant. Yes. Oh, yes. And quickly, says President Trump. We will be there very quickly.” Huh! Does anyone know what the bastard meant here?
In the same speech, Dump took a tumble down a chunk about the death penalty, slurring as he told the crowd: “We have become a drug-infested, crime-ridden nation which is incapable of solvin’ even the swollest [sic], smallest problem, the simplest of problems we can no longer solve. We can’t do anything.” Here’s the kicker: ”We are an institute in a powerful death penalty! We will put this on!”
Team Biden highlighted the many gaffes on their Twitter/X feed, referring to Dump as being very confused and referring to himself in the third person, which he seems to do a lot. The team also quoted Dump’s closing remarks which make no sense.
(This information was gleaned from a Media ITE article by Tommy Christopher entitled “Trump Slurs His Way Through Chunk of Speech – Biden Team Pounces.”)
And Demented Don has the gall to declare Biden cognitively impaired. This guy is definitely brain damaged in some visible way. I still can’t fathom why anyone would still vote for the imbecile.
I’m happy that the mainstream media are now reporting the many gaffes made by Dump in his speeches. It’s only fair, given how they appear to have concentrated on Biden’s supposed feebleness in the past.
By the way, Atticus allowed me to type my blog tonight without any interference from him. He’s sleeping very nicely in his little box. He’s probably tuckered out from his peregrinations throughout the day.
Stay safe and be well.
