Today is Saturday, March 30, 2024, one day before Easter. In the wake of the former president’s egregious, grandstanding gesture appearing at the wake of Jonathan Diller, the slain NY police officer, on Long Island, on Thursday, today an article in the Daily News reports on the condemnation of Herr Drumpf by the relatives of slain Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick who died from suffering a stroke a day after the infamous Capitol riot spurred on by Donald Duck. The article is entitled “Don’Campaign’ Uses Slain Cop: Family of Jan. 6 officer rip visit to Finest wake,” and it’s written by John Annese and Graham Rayman.

The opinions expressed by the father and brother of Brian Sicknick confirmed my comments yesterday regarding the sleaziness of this political stunt on behalf of the repugnican nominee for president. Charles and Kenneth Sicknick both expressed their condolences to the Diller family on Friday, but expressed their ire at Dump who, they said, did nothing but pull off quite an inappropriate political stunt by visiting the family in Massapequa.

Sicknick’s father, Charles, said this about Chump: “He makes sure he gets his face out there. The guy’s a criminal. He’s the reason my son is dead – because of the riot at the Capitol. He’s a publicity hound. Trump does whatever will get him votes and helps Donald Trump. There’s nothing good about that man.” Truth, brother!

Weighing in on Drumpf’s actions on Thursday, Kenneth Sicknick, Brian’s brother, said, “The fact is [Trump] states he’s law and order but he sent a mob that ultimately ended up killing my brother. He has such a lack of self-awareness of what he does. He’s using that officer’s death as a campaign platform.” Exactly what I declared.

If you’ve already forgotten the incident, Brian Sicknick was 42 and a member of the Capitol Police when he responded to the unrest on January 6, 2021. During the turmoil, Sicknick was attacked by two rioters who sprayed him with pepper spray. He returned to his base and collapsed. Medics rushed him to a hospital, where he tragically died the next day.

Sicknick apparently suffered two strokes, but it was obvious that they were engendered by the riot at the Capitol. At the time of Sicknick’s death, the Capitol police said in a statement that the officer died in the line of duty courageously defending Congress and the Capitol.

In the aftermath of the tragedy, Charles Sicknick indicated that Drumpf waited three days after his son’s body was released from the hospital to lower the flags at the White House to half staff.

Charles powerfully condemns Drumpf, saying, “The first one to call us was Joe Biden and he was crying on the phone. The only thing Donald Trump cares about is Donald Trump.” He doesn’t even acknowledge here if Drumpf even called the family to offer his condolences.

Acknowledging his son as a decent and good young man, Charles adds, . . . “It’s terrible that this happened because of some lunatic who was in the White House.”

The brother of the slain officer, Kenneth Sicknick, mourns the fact that the public’s memory of those terrible events of January 6 have appeared to have faded. He said, “It seems like Jan. 6 is 100 years ago for some people, and people don’t realize Trump is responsible for that. It’s [his appearance at the wake] the same things as him selling Bibles. If you put a gun to his head, he couldn’t recite a single verse from the Bible.” Hell, yes; this has been corroborated when the dirtbag was asked to recite one of his own popular verses during an interview with some Fox hack and he couldn’t even recite one; he dodged the question in pure Trumpian fashion.

These two men whose lives have been forever altered by this former “lunatic in the White House” are telling the absolute truth about this beast of a man and Americans should listen to them – before it’s too late!!
