Today is Monday, May 20, 2024. The Dump lapdogs finally got booed and heckled outside the courtroom where their Orange Leader is on trial for a bevy of charges involving a steamy affair with an adult film star. Today protesters – you just love ’em – shouted down former insurrectionist Donald Duck’s gaggle of supporters, all Reputins, as I now call them, as they tried to defend Dump outside his porn star election interference trial. One of those odious bootlickers to Drumpf, Kash Patel, who was a former Trump Pentagon official turned children’s book author (?), could be seen speaking into the microphones set up outside the courthouse while protesters shouted comments like “Stop kissing ass” and loudly blew whistles and rang cowbells.

Investigative journalist Jacqueline Sweet caught the scene on tape, which included the Dump surrogates speaking in front of a large sign that read, “Bootlickers.”

Appropriately, Kash Patel was drowned out by chants of “Kash Patel, go to Hell!” Patel has long been a very controversial figure in U.S. politics as he worked to overturn the 2020 presidential election and keep Donald Trump in power. Patel was elevated to chief of staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller in late 2020 after Dump fired Defense Secretary Marc Esper who refused to use the military against civilian protesters as Chump had wanted.

Thus this trial of a former president has been attended by sycophants in the U.S. Congress who should be ashamed of themselves for showing up for their fucking leader when the justice system is still proceeding in Manhattan. One of those disgusting sycophants was Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, nicknamed “MAGA Mike,” by his Democratic critics, who now was slammed by Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) for what she saw as moral hypocrisy as the supposedly devout evangelical Christian offered support for a former president on trial related to hush money payments to an adult film star.

Last week, Senator Mitt Romney (R-UT), also blasted Reputins showing up for Drumpf’s trial, saying, “I think it’s a little demeaning to show up in front of the courthouse – and particularly one where we’re talking about an allegation of paying a porn star. And it’s really, really very difficult to watch.”

“There’s a level of dignity and decorum that you expect the people who are running for the highest station in the land, and going out and prostrating themselves in front of the public to try and, apparently, curry favor with the person who’s our nominee is embarrassing,” stated Romney. I would go further than the Utah senator in stating that these “bootlickers” are participating in jury harassment and engaging in a slimy attempt to slow the wheels of justice from turning. This is so appalling – that it’s coming from these Republican asslickers. This situation with these Dump supporters should outrage everyone out there who believes in the rule of law and that no one, no one, is above the law, as this trial demonstrates. These people should be hackled and booed when they appear en masse in their fucking red ties and suits made to look like their Supreme Leader, Donald Duck. And they should be peremptorily thrown out at the ballot box when it’s time to cast our votes for their jobs.

Rachel Maddow is now slamming us for not speaking up against this awful display of partisanship on behalf of Dump’s sycophants. It’s time we did! She is now talking to Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis who has received incredible backlash from Republican bullies in Congress who want her investigation into Dump’s criminality in her state to end. This is outrageous! Willis is now speaking about the series of threats she’s received since she took the job. Sadly, she’s talking about the security detail that she has.

Willis is now slamming that jerk “Gym” Jordan for attacking her repeatedly for her hubris in overseeing a criminal trial of his Orange Leader. Where is the outrage against these Reputins in Congress who are overstepping their reach?

As for that ongoing trial of the twice-impeached president, it devolved into chaos today when a witness for the Orange Turd was threatened by the judge, Juan Merchan, for “contemptuous” conduct directed toward him, which triggered the judge to clear the courtroom. This witness, Robert Costello, who took the stand on behalf of the defendant, openly antagonized the judge, complaining about his orders, and glaring at him. What an idiot! Who does this in front of a federal judge? Only defense witnesses for the thug known as Donald Trump.

The transcripts from the trial show how angry Merchan was, as he cleared his courtroom when the witness did not back down from his repulsive behavior. In a statement, Merchan indicates, “The fact that I had to clear the courtroom and that the court officers, including the Captain, had great difficulty clearing the courtroom, and that there was argument back and forth between the press and including counsel for the press, goes to why I had to clear the courtroom in the first place.”

The angry judge continues, “And that is, sir, your conduct is contemptuous right now. I’m putting you on notice that your conduct is contemptuous. If you try to stare me down one more time, I will remove you from the stand.”

This crazy situation comes as the prosecution is preparing to give its closing arguments, and as the defense appears to have little more to add other than the move to call Costello. This can’t be good for the Orange Turd if his only defense witness triggers an evacuation of the courtroom. Hell, yes! The jury is watching. And deciding on the fate of the former president.

Costello is now the last fucking defense witness to be called by Dump’s legal team. Good luck there, boys.

As Lawrence O’Donnell is now saying about this shocking incident, Costello evinced some rather appalling behavior as a witness which infuriated the judge to clear the courthouse. O’Donnell described the judge as a very fair, calm, measured judge, so he really had to be provoked in such a way to do what he did today. Reading from the transcript from today’s proceedings, O’Donnell stated that the stupid witness exclaimed “Jeez” to a question that he didn’t like and then overstepped his authority over the judge by saying “Strike it” to a statement he made. As if he was the attorney performing the cross-examination.

So we have a “contemptuous” defense witness on behalf of Drumpf being castigated by a very angry judge. This might convince the jury now that what Michael Cohen testified about Drumpf is all true!! How could they even countenance this testimony from a compromised witness like Robert Costello who behaved like a slimy goodfella.
