Today is Monday, July 15, 2024. Two days after surviving an assassination attempt, MAGA presidential candidate Donald Duck selected odious, radical J.D. Vance as his vice president today. In my opinion, Dump couldn’t pick anyone worse than Vance who has become his biggest booster, at just 39 years of age. Trust me, this selection is bad for independent voters and for women who have a lot to despise in this youthful senator from Ohio. To understand who this horrible man is, a CNN analysis appears online on my smartphone by Stephen Collinson entitled “Two days after surviving an assassination attempt, Trump picks his MAGA heir.”

The selection of Vance can be viewed as a nod to his legacy, Trumpism, and the destruction of the truth, and anoints a leader of the “Make America Great Again” movement who could be active long after its author has shuffled off this planet. God help us!

The Ohio senator, who is only 39, as I’ve said, injects a “dash of youth” into an election season dominated by two elderly men who have both been elected president. “His selection caps a stunning political rise – he’s been in the Senate for less than two years.” And, God forbid, if Dump were to win the election in November, a millennial will be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Here’s another good reason to defeat Dump at the ballot box in November, I dare say.

In many ways, Vance’s quintessential American story is the antidote to Dump’s biography. Unlike his new boss, he didn’t come from wealth – he’s a self-made man who rose from the lowliest of circumstances, heading to Ohio State University, to service with the Marine Corps in Iraq, and graduating with top honors from Yale Law School. So why has he allied himself with such an idiot like Dump? It’s pure opportunism, his critics allege, because he was an early self-declared “Never Trumper” who once called the ex-president “noxious.” But now Vance has morphed into one of Drumpf’s most vocal sycophants in the pursuit of raw power. The Ohio Republican has now turned his back on the establishment and elite academic world that helped make his name with the vehemence that only a defector can muster. He has explained that he was wrong about Dump and now believes he was a great president. Oh, gag me with a silver spoon!

See how Vance has most vociferously defended his new boss by stating he has been the poor victim of a weaponized justice system. He has also downplayed the assault on the U.S. Capitol by a mob of Drumpf supporters on that fateful day in January 2021, and in an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, cast doubt on the facts of the most brutal attack on American democracy of the modern age.

His comments on that day reflect an alternate reality, which is what all MAGAts are expert at embracing. He had the balls to say, “I’m extremely skeptical that Mike Pence’s life was ever in danger [did he ever see pictures of the noose that was reserved for the neck of the vice president? I wonder]. I think . . . in politics, people like to really exaggerate things, from time to time.” He stupidly goes on to state, “A lot of folks, in the Democratic Party act as if January 6 was the scariest moment of their lives.” Yes, stupid bearded one: it was! Vance irrationally continues, “January 6 was a bad day [at least he concedes this!]. It was a riot. But the idea that Donald Trump endangered anyone’s life, when he told them to protest peacefully [he never did!], it’s just absurd.”

Even though this vice presidential pick will be able to juice up MAGA turnout, he could alienate the critical suburban voters in swing states, especially women, who usually decide U.S. elections, especially with his extremely hardline position on abortion.

With this horrible choice for VP, Dump critics are also seizing on the pick to question Drumpf’s commitment to his new unity message after he escaped the assassination attempt. It was Vance who responded with the most searing reaction to that failed attempt when he disgustingly said that President Joe Biden’s arguments that Drumpf was an “authoritarian fascist” led to the attempt to kill him, despite the motive of the gunman being unclear. Also, Vance forgot to mention that the young gunman was a registered Republican, so this argument is just more bullshit.

Another area where Vance shows his concordance with Drumpf is in the war in Ukraine in which he feels America should stop funding the war and giving military capability to the Ukrainians. This resulted in Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky rebuking Vance’s criticism of the war in an interview with CNN’s Collins in February.

Zelensky basically said that Vance doesn’t know what he’s talking about and he invited him to go to the front lines to see what was going on and to speak with people, and to understand that without this support from the United States, that millions of people would be killed without it. Zelensky chastised Vance, saying, “Of course, he doesn’t understand. God bless you don’t have the war on your territory.”

So there you have it: more good reasons to reject this entire ticket posthaste in November. Drumpf’s vice presidential choice is a prick.

Yet another reason was provided today to not make Drumpf president ever again in the shock ruling by Trump-appointed federal judge Aileen Cannon to totally dismiss the classified documents case against the insurrectionist.

I won’t go into the specifics of this horrible ruling that benefits a convicted felon, since I’m boiling mad and need to calm down. Just know that in a statement this evening, Peter Carr, spokesperson for the special counsel’s office, said that the Justice Department has approved plans to appeal. I just wonder why special counsel Jack Smith didn’t move to oust Cannon from the case months ago since she clearly was so biased in favor of the Orange Turd. Now the case has been dropped which doesn’t come as a surprise to insiders at all; she seemed to be moving in this direction for a long time, it seems.

I think this situation will make many more voters fucking angry that the subhuman known as Donald Duck always seems to evade true accountability and will galvanize them to vote for anyone but Drumpf on Election Day to send him a blunt message of total rejection. I pray this does happen.
