Today is Wednesday, August 28, 2024. I was gone one day entertaining our good friend “Thomas” yesterday who chowed down on Elliot’s meatballs and spaghetti and also enjoyed some pastries from Cannelle Patisserie, located in Jackson Heights, and the repugnican candidate you love to hate got embroiled in another campaign-ending disgrace, this time engaging in an “altercation” at Arlington National Cemetery, the most sacred military burial ground in America, two days ago. The true impact of this sickening stunt designed to steal Kamala Harris’s thunder – which backfired tremendously – is detailed in the Daily Kos by Mark Sumner entitled “Trump’s Arlington stunt should be a campaign-ending disgrace.”

This crass political stunt was designed to blunt Vice President Kamala Harris’s surging momentum, but it resulted in controversy instead. Here to create a photo- op in the most sacred national burial grounds, traitor Dump’s campaign staff broke all of the rules of the military cemetery, verbally and physically quarreled with a cemetery official, and filmed in an area where photography is not permitted. Not too surprisingly, they also seem to have violated federal law.

Compounding the incident, Dump’s campaign has refused to apologize, which is not surprising at all, given how Dump has not ever apologized for anything in his 78 years. Instead, Drumpf spokesperson Steven Cheung called the cemetery official “an unnamed individual, clearly suffering from a mental health episode.” How insulting! This unnamed individual should sue the Drumpf campaign for defamation.

This whole sad affair should not fool any American who is aware of Dump’s terrible record of demeaning service members throughout his one disastrous term in office. Everyone should know that this “event” was created by his team so that the awful former commander-in-grief could be seen as promilitary and to also take a jab at Harris.

With Fox News cameras rolling, Dump laid wreaths at Arlington for the third anniversary of the Abbey Gate explosion at the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, where 13 service members were lost, as Americans and Afghans evacuated the country. The Dump team then issued a mean statement saying that Harris had “failed our soldiers and their families” by not being at Arlington to commemorate this tragedy.

But Daily Kos conducted its own research and discovered that the Orange Turd never marked the anniversary of the Abbey Gate attack before. In 2023, the newly arraigned former president was apparently too busy raising money from his Georgia mugshot. And the year before that, “he seems to have wasted his time railing about the removal of national security documents from his Mar-a-Lago club.”

Make no mistake, folks: Dump made this trip when he probably would have preferred to be out golfing because he wanted to wield it against Harris. But it backfired – badly!

On Monday, after leaving the wreath area, Dump’s team headed for Section 60 of the cemetery, where fallen veterans of recent conflicts are interred. However, Arlington doesn’t allow filming of political events on cemetery grounds, and they don’t allow commercial photography in Section 60, where families may still be grieving recent losses.

So what was truly disturbing about this crass political stunt was fucking Trump who had to get a photo-op of himself giving the thumbs-up beside the grave of a dead Marine. How revolting! If this were a Democrat – but a Democrat wouldn’t stoop this low for a damn photo-op – you can imagine the outrage unleashed by repugnicans over this stunt.

The writer of this article states, “Trump’s actions, as well as those of his team, were a disgrace. They treated a sacred place as a stage for a political stunt. They violated the rules about political events at Arlington and filming in Section 60. And their reaction to being caught was despicable.”

Sumner writes that the incident demands an apology from the twice-impeached president and an apology from his campaign team in how they allegedly treated a cemetery official just trying to maintain federal law. “But Trump doesn’t do apologies, only insults.”

Let’s hope and pray that this blasphemous measure taken by the Drumpf campaign team is pounced on by the mainstream media until Election Day! Again, if this stunt were undertaken by the Biden camp, you wouldn’t hear the end of it from the mainstream media.

This incident should plague this draft dodger all the way until he loses the election on November 5.
