Today is Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Today Vice President Kamala Harris slammed her disgusting opponent for spreading lies about the community of Springfield, Ohio, in which the vice presidential candidate spewed nonsense about pets being eaten by Haitian immigrants. She spoke at an event hosted by the National Association of Black Journalists, where she condemned Dump and his fucking fascists for abandoning their responsibility as “truth sayers” for the American public. The mayor of Ohio condemned both men for spewing such lies that have now endangered the lives of people living in that community. Harris mentioned that children were forced to evacuate schools because of Dump and Vance. She said this to the young journalists sitting down with her, “It’s a crying shame.” She mentioned this at least twice during the interview.

In a bizarre twist of phrases, the worst vice presidential candidate JD Vance argued in a speech delivered in Georgia today that the two recent attempts on his odious boss are evidence that “the left needs to tone down the rhetoric and needs to cut this crap out; somebody’s going to get hurt by it.” Not only is this a classic case of projection that is used extensively by Donald Dump who can’t admit the truth about himself, it’s patently absurd, given that Vance’s own lies about Springfield, Ohio, are now having disastrous life-threatening consequences, as outlined above by Harris during her sit-down with Black journalists. This “gaslighting” being conducted by Republicans toward Democrats is examined in a CNN analysis by Daniel Dale entitled “Analysis: Vance warns calling a candidate a ‘fascist’ can lead to violence but doesn’t mention that’s what Trump calls Harris.”

Trying to be the voice of sanity, Vance declared: “Look, we can disagree with one another, we can debate one another, but we cannot tell the American people that one candidate is a fascist and if he’s elected, it is going to be the end of American democracy.”

But what this deplorable candidate failed to mention in his takedown on Harris and Democrats is that Dump has repeatedly told the American people that his opponent is a fascist whose election would mean the end of the country itself. There’s that use of projection yet again!

What the writer of this analysis points out is that Drumpf called Harris a fascist at least twice last week alone.

At an Arizona rally last Thursday, Drumpf declared, “She’s a Marxist, communist, fascist, socialist.” Here the president is just throwing out “isms” without knowing what they truly mean. Attacking the vice president at a news conference on Friday, Dump baselessly sputtered, “This is a radical-left, Marxist, communist, fascist.” This is all pointless word salad coming from a desperate candidate looking for something to stick with Kamala Harris.

During a campaign stop in August, Dump told Virginia residents, “We have a fascist person running who’s incompetent.” Talk about calling the kettle black here! And this inarticulateness is priceless: “We have a fascist person.” Ugh! How artless is that!

So why isn’t Vance, the son of a bitch, not calling for Dump to tamp down his fucking rhetoric that is definitely causing a divide in this country? Thus a Vance spokesperson did not immediately respond to CNN’s request today to explain whether he is calling on Dump to tone down his language, and, if not, what Vance sees as the difference between Trump’s words and the words from “the left” he was denouncing.

In addition to the nonsense he spews about the other side, Vance had the bluntness and stupidity to declare that “no one has tried to kill Kamala Harris in the last couple of months” indicating that it demonstrates that the issue of incendiary rhetoric about presidential candidates is a one-side-only concern. But – whoa here! – it certainly isn’t because it comes from Vance’s side, not Harris’s side.

To counteract what Vance so erroneously stated about Harris, the writer of this analysis states Harris has faced violent threats for years, including in recent months. In August alone, a Virginia man and a Tennessee man were separately charged with making death threats against her. Of course, Vance doesn’t tell his ignorant audience that this is a reality for the Democratic opponent as well as his repugnican boss. He conveniently forgets to mention that fact.

There are only 49 days left until the election! Don’t we all wish it were tomorrow!

Oh, tomorrow I will not be here since Elliot and I are meeting my cousins in Manhattan for dinner. Actually, we have received an invitation to meet first at their apartment on the East Side. This marks my first time seeing their apartment, so I’m a little excited over this. We’ll bring a nice bottle of vino for us to have before walking to the restaurant.
