Today is Monday, October 14, 2024. We have only 22 days until Election Day and I can’t wait until this most consequential election is over. The stakes couldn’t be higher this time, but you all know that. Campaigning on “turning the page” on Donald Fuck, Vice President Kamala Harris just finished a campaign rally in pivotal Erie County, Pennsylvania, tonight and slammed her repugnican rival over Duck’s comment that the U.S. military should handle “the enemy from within” on Election Day, a sign that this Orange Turd is more unhinged than ever. It’s great that the Harris campaign is seizing on the latest insane remarks made by the former insurrectionist in interviews with far-right news outlets. This rally was covered in a CNN online article by Priscilla Alvarez and Eric Bradner entitled “Harris uses Trump’s ‘enemy from within’ comment to portray GOP rival as dangerous and unstable.”

This is the latest example of Harris’s campaign drawing stark distinctions with Drumpf in the presidential race’s closing weeks, using the former “president”‘s own words and those of his former aides to cast him as “dangerous and unstable,” words that Harris herself used in her denunciation of the Orange Turd.

Today Harris highlighted Drumpf’s comments Sunday on Fox “Infotainment,” when he said he isn’t worried about his supporters’ actions on Election Day, even though it is his damn supporters who would easily resort to violence if given the signal by their Orange Jesus. During the interview, the “dictator for a day” said, “I think the bigger problem is the enemy from within.” He continued down a dark road, saying, “We have some very bad people [based on whose proof here? I wonder]. We have some sick people [isn’t he really talking about himself here?]. Radical left lunatics.” This Drumpf commented to the news outlet’s Maria Bartiromo.

Harris warned today that Dump’s actions could put people’s freedom at risk. She stated, “You heard his words, coming from him. He’s talking about the enemy within . . . he’s talking about that he considers anyone that doesn’t support him, or who will bend to his will, an enemy of our country.”

Then Harris indicated, “He’s saying he would use the military to go after them . . . and we know who he would target, because he has attacked them before: Journalists whose stories who he doesn’t like, election officials who refuse to cheat by finding extra votes for him, judges who insist on following the law instead of bending to his will. This is among the reasons I believe so strongly that a second Trump term would be a huge risk for America, and dangerous.” Amen, Kamala!

Harris’s campaign will also release a new ad slamming the former president for his unhinged views, dubbed “Enemy Within,” which features Dump repeatedly invoking the phrase “the enemy from within” on the campaign trail.

The 30-second spot includes two former Drumpf aides, Olivia Troye, who served as an aide to former Vice President Mike Pence, and Kevin Carroll, a former Trump Homeland Security official.

In the ad, Troye says, “I do remember the day that he suggested that we shoot people on the streets.” This was when demonstrators were rallying in the wake of the George Floyd murder in May 2020 and Dump actually suggested that the military could shoot protesters in the leg. Can you believe this? A president actually making such a suggestion to shoot American citizens?

The second aide, Carroll, said, “The second term would be worse.” He continued, “There will be no one to stop his worst instincts. Unchecked power. No guardrails. We elect Trump again, we’re in terrible danger.”

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Harris’s running mate, told hundreds of supporters at a convention center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, that Dump’s suggestion of using the National Guard or the U.S. military to respond to political opposition to him “makes me sick to my stomach” and referred to Dump as “a fascist to the core.”

Shit stain JD Vance, Dump’s more smooth liar and sycophant, claimed incorrectly as usual that there were “a core group of far-left activists” who were willing to harass and commit violence against fellow Americans in 2016 and after the death of George Floyd in 2020. Oh, this “hillbilly” never heard of the Proud Boys or other far-right organizations that have actually used violence in pursuit of Dump’s policies on January 6, 2021 and beyond? There have been no far-left groups resorting to violence, as this repugnican has contended.

During her event today, Harris also plans to show attendees in Erie what Dump rallies are like, the aide said.

Previously, she has urged voters to watch Drumpf allies – an unusual move for a candidate and one that underscores the Harris campaign’s belief that an unfiltered Dump is damaging to his own prospects.

She has lambasted the doddering old fool for talking about fictional characters like Hannibal Lecter. She said, “He will talk about windmills cause cancer.” She also indicated that people start leaving his rallies early out of exhaustion [because this bloviator dribbles on interminably] and boredom. She mentioned this in her debate with Drumpf last month.

Last week Harris launched an ad in North Carolina that included highlights from a recent campaign event with Liz Cheney. In that spot, a narrator said, “Former generals, secretaries of defense, secretaries of the Army, Navy and Air Force, CIA directors, and National Security Council leaders under Democratic and Republican presidents, Republican members of Congress and even former Trump administration officials agree: There’s only one candidate fit to lead our nation and that’s Kamala Harris.” Enough said!

Another solid reason that voters must decide to reject Dump altogether is the age factor: since the aging “tycoon” is now 78, if he ever succumbs to a stroke or some other debilitating disease if – God forbid! – he wins the election, we’re stuck with that prick JD Vance as president. That truly would be horrible! Who wants this glib fascist as president if Dump ever dies in office before his term in office ends? I hope those MAGAts – and even moderates – take that into consideration before they vote for Dump on November 5.

This nightmare scenario of having a President Vance – perish the thought! – is borne out in a RawStory article that posits that Vance himself could remove President Drumpf from office if he shows more clear signs of cognitive failure – which he’s already showing too clearly on the campaign trail right now – via the 25th Amendment. The article is written by Matthew Chapman and is entitled “J.D. Vance could oust Donald Trump from the presidency under this scenario.”

This scenario has been suggested by American Enterprise Institute scholar Norm Ornstein, who speculated about this to Salon’s Chauncey DeVega in that Vance could give Dump the boot if it becomes clear Drumpf’s cognitive decline has become too severe to carry out the basic functions of office.

Again, this would be a consequence of the 25th Amendment, which provides a mechanism for the president’s Cabinet to remove him from duty if they deem him unable to function within his realm of duties.

Ornstein told DeVega that “I think we will see an increase in his cognitive decline, which I hope against hope is covered in the mainstream media. The public must be reminded that while the vice president is the only member of the Executive Branch who can’t be fired, the president can essentially be fired by the vice president should he become significantly impaired. This is accomplished through the 25th Amendment.”

Ornstein added, “People must realize that a vote for Trump could easily be a vote for a President Vance,” and we all know how disgusting that would be. Vance, as you know, has been the least popular of the four candidates on the presidential ticket for weeks, provoked by the public perception of his “weirdness” (the guy couldn’t order a fucking donut in a Dunkin’ Donuts, even!) and his ridiculous rants against childless women.

On the other hand, Dump continues to deny his advanced age has given him any cognitive issues, bragging to the press and his stupid rallygoers that he has “aced” recent dementia tests. (Has he ever provided those results? one must wonder.) (What kind of tests is he even talking about here? Why hasn’t any journalist asked him to provide real proof of that?).

This fact is so telling of Dump’s ignorance about the simple mechanics of the U.S. government: when recently asked about the possibility that President Joe Biden could be sidelined by the 25th Amendment because of fear of his declining mental acuity, Dump revealed he didn’t know what the presidential line of succession was. He probably thought Nancy Pelosi would become president if he were fired because of his cognitive impairment.

Oh, give me a fucking break! And we want this ignorant man back in the White House?
