Today is Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The honeymoon might be over – not the one the American people had with this failing president since his crowning on January 20 which has been broken anyway very early in his administration – the honeymoon might be over between the ignorant, tariff-obsessed president and his true vice president, Elon Muskrat of South Africa, who had been given maximum, unfettered access to our fucking personal records as a result of his governing of DOGE which should be the acronym of “Disgusting Oligarchs Gutting Everything,” not the stupid appellation of Department of Governmental Efficiency. The subject of their disagreement is the stubborn and unbending position of Donald Chump on tariffs, which he won’t back down on even though this is clearly viewed as extremely detrimental for this country’s economy and the world’s. An online article in Buzz Feed covers this severing of the bromance between the moronic president and his hatchet man, Elon Muskrat, in a piece entitled “Elon Musk And Donald Trump Apparently Just Had Their ‘Highest-Profile Disagreement,’ According to Reports.”
So it appears that Dump’s wish to slap tariffs on virtually every country that does business with this country, excluding Putin’s Russia – is that suspicious or not, hmmm? – has Muskrat questioning Dump’s reasoning here. Muskrat supposedly appealed to the liar in chief in an “attempted intervention,” The Washington Post reported yesterday. It appears that Muskrat’s plea did not move the intransigent president, as he continues to saber-rattle on the trade war front, threatening to tack on 50 percent tariffs for Chinese goods.
Muskrat expressed his misgivings on his platform X, but aimed his criticism at the likes of Trump adviser Peter Navarro, who is the architect of this misbegotten strategy. In a series of scathing tweets, Muskrat labeled Navarro as “truly a moron” and “dumber than a sack of bricks.” It’s not too difficult to generalize that if Muskrat deems Navarro as a moron, then we could possibly extrapolate here that Muskrat is also criticizing his bro Donald Chump as well. The Tesla owner came to this conclusion after Navarro ignorantly told CNBC that Tesla was “not a car manufacturer” but a “car assembler” that relies on parts from China and Taiwan.
This rift between the two highlights how the tariffs could possibly hit Tesla, whose brand has already suffered greatly due to Muskrat’s controversial behavior, where it hurts. It’s been reported that Muskrat has already lost $130 billion due to the tariff backlash. But please don’t have any sympathy for this obscenely rich individual. He has more where that came from, as they say.
It was just a matter of freaking time that the romance between the autocrat and his billionaire friend would come to a close since Dump’s massive ego couldn’t tolerate being in the shadow of the far younger Muskrat. This could be the breaking point.
Tomorrow I might not post my blog since Elliot and I are meeting our adopted “niece” “Esther” for dinner at 7. She’s coming to us first and then we’re taking her out to a Chinese restaurant. She’ll want to play with Atticus first, which is quite understandable. If we don’t spend many hours together, I might just post my regular blog. But we’ll see.
I just heard that it is Day 79 of Chump’s first 100 days in office. Doesn’t it seem like it’s two years, not just 79 days? Oh, the chaos, the mess, the irregularities, the immorality, the confusion of it all!
And so it went!
