Today is Sunday, December 28, 2025. As the year winds down to a precious few days left, we look forward to the approach of a new year. What we tend to do as the year heads toward its natural end, we generally look back at the previous year. In honor of that tradition, I am sharing just portions of a long article by Ron Filipkowski of the MeidasTouch Substack that was printed yesterday. The article is so huge that he could only release portions of it. Once you see the title of his piece, you’ll understand why.

The title of the piece is “500 Worst Things Trump Did in 2025,” and this first tranche of bad things Dump did only covers his first month in office, January 2025, through March of 2025. In the furtherance of brevity, I will highlight some of the more egregious actions this would-be dictator has taken this year. Are you with me? So, here we go!

• Let’s see if you remember this insane remark by the ogre-in-chief here? “On the day Canadian PM Justin Trudeau resigned, Trump responded by posting that he wanted to take over Canada.” He actually said, “Many people in Canada LOVE being the 51st state. The US can no longer suffer the massive trade deficits and subsidies that Canada needs to stay afloat. Trudeau knew this, and resigned. If Canada merged with the US, there would be no tariffs, taxes would be way down. Together, what a great nation it would be!!!” Can you believe this nonsense? Canadians really hate us now and would NOT love being attached to the United States. Already delusional in his thinking here.
• As for another land obsession with Demented Don, there was the utter nonsense of his son, Don, “Coke Addled” Jr. leading a MAGA delegation to Greenland, which included then-living Charlie Kirk, to pressure people there into becoming part of the country. The “Chainsaw” DOGE Madman, Elon Muskrat, responded to news about the trip, saying, “The people of Greenland should decide their future and I think they want to be part of America!” No, they don’t.
• This action is abominable. The outlaw in chief pardoned or commuted the sentences of all 1,500 January 6 defendants – including those who beat up police just days after Vance said that nobody who engaged in violence that day would be pardoned. Another lie from another scumbag by the name of JD Vance. The brother of that poor DC Metropolitan Police Officer who died as a result of the assault on the Capitol, Brian Sicknick, said, “This is a betrayal of decency. We now have no rule of law. Trump is a poor excuse of a man.” I second that!
• Another terrible pardon, this time, of dark web Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht. “His site facilitated more global drug transactions than perhaps any other in history.” Millions of pills and mountains of fentanyl were bought and sold using his encrypted site.
• Dump signed an executive order to end birthright citizenship to children born on U.S. soil if their parents are migrants. The fucking “Extreme” Court is supposed to decide on this issue soon.
• Dump signed an executive order to withdraw the country from the World Health Organization.
• The ogre-in-chief signed several executive orders deregulating the oil and gas industry, paving the way for pollution to sicken us once more.
• Another EO signed by Grump revoked the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, which was signed by Lyndon Johnson in 1965 and had remained in effect for 60 years. Not anymore!
• Drumpf fired all 17 nonpartisan, independent inspectors general at government agencies in violation of federal law, which states that Congress must be provided with written notice by the president 30 days before they intend to remove any inspector general. Of course, Congress didn’t say boo when the convicted felon just carried out the firing of these people.
• The fascist administration adopted a MAGA loyalty test in their written questionnaires to job applicants. This is totally outrageous.
• Dump announced he will be sending migrants to Guantanamo Bay. Immigration expert Aaron Reichlin-Melnick said, “No one arrested in the US has EVER been sent to Guantanamo. It’s a first in American history and raises a ton of serious legal questions.” It sure does!
• The Quakers sued the Dump regime for issuing a new Department of Homeland Security (DHS) order that allowed ICE agents to enter churches to arrest suspected migrants. This order ended a Biden-era policy that forbid ICE from entering so-called “protected” areas such as churches, hospitals, and schools.

I had to stop listing these egregious acts undertaken by an appalling administration that seems to have no respect for the rule of law or, even, common decency. I have yet to read the following article written by Filipkowski that chronicles the next 100 outrageous actions taken by this cruel regime. I stopped at number 54 and only cited some memorable actions here.

Thus because of what we all have had to endure this year, the year, to me, seemed more than a year, it appeared to occupy a decade, or – at the very least – several years in one. I truly hope this felon will be more subdued during 2026. I hope to be more active on the protest front.
